While crashes are serious, I think this may not be a critical enough
issue to backport a fix to 8.10, so since you can't do testing of it
anyway, I think we'll just close the report at this time and if

In 10.10 audacious doesn' t crash anymore. Unfortunately I cannot test 8.10
anymore if its still there.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and
your problem may have been fix
That's a long time ago I've posted this bug. Well today I do not use
tracker at the moment. I just tried searching with Audacious in Karmic
and it works. I am not sure if this problem still exists in combination
with tracker.
