Public bug reported: Minor quirk in Hardy (seen in 8.04.1): I have two locations configured in the clock applet; also, the clock is set to only display the time (no weather/temperature/date). When activating the other location, the tray entry with the time entry is resized a bit in width. This is a bit irritating and also uses up precious space on the small screen.
Going to the clock settings dialog and check and uncheck the "show weather" checkbox fixed the tray entry width again. Attached is a screenshot of the widened tray entry (with the clock applet opened here, so the entry border is visible for clarification). ** Affects: gnome-applets (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Switching locations changes tray-entry width https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/256597 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
