i'm having the same problem, same device icon 225 on a HP TX2120us tablet with intrepid 8.10 32bit. network manager does not recognize the modem at all, tried with a huawei 220 and that worked flawlessly in network manager. lsmod and dmesg attached, other docs needed? second newbie here cheers
