For if it helps, I found a guy who has created a repository maintaining the
latest versions:
http://www.bortis.ch/fm/kab/?p=54 (repository with version 1.31 .deb (lastest))
In other hand, in hardy-backports the lastest version is 1.22 (as
Intrepid).

Dear Angel,
Hardy has been released so this can only be marked as a feature request for
hardy-backports.
Intrepid reaches FeatureFreeze on the 28th so this could still make it. Can
someone put this on the wishlist?
