This still doesn't work for me. I've tried on all today's latest pkgs from karmic beta on i386. I have a networked Sharp MX2300N (with no postscript module). This is not a problem of system-config-printer but of foomatic-db. We got only PostScript PPDs from Sharp and not the information that PostScript is only an add-on for some of these printers.
