I think right click on video, settings and disable hardware acceleration
should work.It works for me

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
but it doesn't work.

Unfortunately, I've since gone moved to Ubuntu 8.10 and then to Linux Mint

sudo apt-get purge flashplugin-nonfree
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
