no, still not confirming, it takes time to go through accounts and the
statusbar indicates "indexing" but it does search correctly. maybe you
could open your bug on bugzilla.gnome.org directly since that's likely
an upstream issue and people who write the code might have better reply
there

1. I start evolution in the terminal with "evolution -c calendar". Evolution
starts with the calendarview.
2. I change to the mailview.
3. In the right corner on top of the side I chosse "all accounts".
4. In the searchfield I choose "message contains".

No, it doesn't, there are no results.
When I start evolution with "evolution -c calendar" from the terminal, it finds
messages, when I select current folder. When I choose current account, the
results are only messages of the current folder, messages of the other folders
aren't found except they
not confirming, the evolution search works correctly when starting on
the calendar component too, does it find messages in the current account
when you select the all accounts option in your case?
