According to the last comment, this issue is solved for the tuner but
still a problem for the webcam. As this is the same as bug #280657 i'm
marking this as a dupe from that one.

I have changed the OS to Ubuntu 8.10 64bit. My leadtek tuner works fine, but
skype doesn't "see" any video devices. Skype is a 32 bit application, works
fine. :(
