I have noticed a bug with this.
If the printer becomes disconnected cups uses 100% of the CPU until you delete
the printer.
I still have not figured out why but as long as the printer is connected to the
network CPU usage remains normal.

Very cool! Intrepid has a new auto find the printer driver and install
it tool. would you mind giving it a test drive and reporting back on if

My Cannon mx700 has been working perfectly with this.
Compile the cannon network support in to cups
copy the cannon 700.ppd file to the appropriate directory.
Install the printer.
