As far as launchpad-bazaar is concerned, this is a duplicate of bug
91579 and of the package-branches spec (now linked). I'm marking this
bug as invalid since I can't mark a task as a duplicate.

This is Won't Fix for devscripts, at least for now. We decided that overloading
the existing tools for this purpose had too many downsides. We can
revisit this decision in a later iteration.
