Slow startu
I was experiencing this bug then I reinstalled ubuntu 8.04 and it worked
fine -- not that that's what I'm suggesting but I'm just saying it's not
reproducible.

I confirm this. I'm using version 1.13-2. Btw, checkgmail doesn't
authentificate because Gmail login procedures have changed. It has been
fixed in SVN. Anyone willing to make a patch?
