Another useful check for the translation team is by running msgfmt -c (runs a
check on the .po file before compiling it).
On the source package, it will complain:
gtk20.po:1571: number of format specifications in 'msgid' and 'msgstr' does not
match
msgfmt: found 1 fatal error
- to check :
apt-g
So, make sure you have installed the package, then switched to the Romanian
locale (can be done by running in a terminal
export LANG="ro_RO.UTF-8"
export LANGUAGE="ro_RO:ro"
gedit
You should see the Romanian translation for it, if everything is ok (ex:
instead of Open you should see Deschide).
