It is possible that an accessibility feature was active at the time,
though I can't say for sure. I do know that they are now disabled and I
am able to utilize templates. Though I have also upgraded to Intrepid
at this point.

Confirmed on Ubuntu 8.0.4.1 w/OO 2.4.1 (latest from Ubuntu repos.)
Tried the following unsuccessfully:
- Update JRE to 1.6.0_06
- Renamed ~/.openoffice.org2
- Reinstalled openoffice.org metapackage
- Uninstalled openoffice.org-report-builder
I also checked hardy-proposed for updates, no dice.

Tried both sun-java6-jre and openjdk-6-jre, no change. Still getting
the same immediate crash. Changed the JRE, closed all OOo apps,
restarted oowriter and attempted selection.

problem? It may be some sort of user configuration issue.
