[solved] Kdenlive crash on kubuntu 8.04
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248117
You received this bug
this works in my computer
but if i use recordmydekstop compiz and kdenlive i get a crash
to get it works i have used kdelive like root
so i have :
sudo apt-get install libxcb-composite0 libxcb1-dbg libxcb1-dev
then if i use recordmydestop and compiz i have to run in this way
kdesudo kdenlive
well it's true on the theory but on the practice it's not so ,
because when i have installed kubuntu i have tested :
1 no compiz WITHOUT composite0 =crash
2 no compiz WITH composite0 before updating* =no crash ;
after updating = CRASH
3 no compiz WIT
libxcb1-dbg libxcb1-dev won't have any actual effect, as they are debug
symbols and development files, they shouldn't be required. The fact that
you are using compiz might also be the cause of the issue. Have you
tried *without* libxcb-composite0 and without compiz ?
Cheers
