What's the status on this? Shouldn't this be a trivial thing? It's either licensed GPL or it's licensed BSD. If it's dual licensed, simply pick one (Debian will likely pick GPL), and move on. This is one of the biggest things keeping me from routinely using Ubuntu. Arch and Gentoo both have this
