Looks good to me. I would also add the attached patch, its needed to avoid
having the package FTBFS if built twice in a row.
Just check that mo files are properly generated during build.

I'm afraid we are too late for Debian. If you want to upgrade these
packages, please go on. You may want to check what I did already, you
can dget them from:

Please keep this and bug 246276 on hold for the time being.
I'm trying to get them both into Debian, and eventually we will simply sync.
I'll let you know if there are problems in Debian, in which case we can update
them in Ubuntu first.
