This bug only manifests itself when the Inconsolata font is used.
Setting .emacs to contain only
(set-default-font "Inconsolata-10")
will be enough to reproduce it. It is similar to Bug #230809, but the
symptoms are slightly different (I get a segfault instead of a SIGABRT,
and it only happens wh
