It's not listed in the release notes, but the crashing isn't happening
to me anymore since Firefox 3.0.1. Don't know if Mozilla or Google
changed something and I don't care. At least it's not crashing.

I have had the same problem in Kubuntu 8.04, but not in Ubuntu 8.04
Well, I am using Kubuntu in the laptop and Ubuntu in the desktop.
When closing gmail tabs, just kubuntu's firefox crashes. It is very weird.

BTW, while i thought this was initially flash related, and that
