The problem is with the Français-Autre keyboard layout. When I switch to
the Français-Legacy Alternative, the problem is resolved.

Hi,
I recorded the desktop. I hope it will explain my problem much better than i
can (sorry for my english).
So in this video, first i type "ubuntu compiz" in the text area, i
double click on the second item of the search result list. When the
video is playing, i enter again in the text area and
I cannot reproduce this either, leaving this as incomplete waiting for
the reporter information, thanks.

Hi Danilo,
to reproduce it, first enter a text in the area and launch a search,
double clik on a video. Enter again in the text area and type a text
with a space character. Your video should hold on pause and the space
character should not appear in the text area.
