Nothing, it's the same bug tracker, it's just that the Kubuntu devs are the
ones that normally look after py qt stuff. Also some packages (I don't
know if this is one) related to Kubuntu will fall out of support at the 18
month point.

Both Ubuntu and Kubuntu are in Main. The Kubuntu ones do not have LTS.
I've seen no list, so I don't know if python-qt4 will continue to supported
after Kubuntu Hardy goes out of suppport in about 6 month.

Python-qt4 is package in Ubuntu/main repository, so i guess it _has_
LTS. What do you mean with "Hardy is not an LTS release for Kubuntu" and

Sorry about that. I didn't see anything on the page saying that this was
for Kubuntu - at the top of the page it says Ubuntu. What do I need to
do to submit this for Ubuntu 8.04?

to get a fix into an earlier release is to nominate the bug for that
release.
Hardy is not an LTS release for Kubuntu, only Ubuntu so my guess is that
there is little chance this bug will be fixed as it is likely the
package g
This bug is still present in Ubuntu 8.04. Is the newer package or
python-qt4 going to be made available (or the fix backported)? After
all, 8.04 is only a year old and it is a long term support release.
