I'm trying to browse SLARTIBARTFAST, which does not require
authentication. However, the listing is incorrect for COLLIN-LAPTOP.
This is not surprising, though, since COLLIN-LAPTOP requires
authentication.

No, the machine requires no authentication to browse the shares.
In addition, if I run MS Windows in a virtual machine, it can see and
browse the shares flawlessly, so I know that it should be possible. I'm
pretty sure that the virtual machine just uses packet forwarding, so any

I can confirm this problem with nautilus and samba shares using nautilus
2.22.3 along with a few other problems.

Attached is a screenshot of nautilus and smb4k next to each other. As
you can see, there are shares on the network inside mshome, but nautilus
can't see them. This has not been a problem in previous versions of
Ubuntu.
