It found the problem, had installed fonts ttf copies in the folder
/usr/share/fonts/mttscorefonts but had not given permission to read so
that the programs were trying to read and could not.
I feel all the mess that he organized and thanks for your help.

ok, if evince is also affected i guess its an xserver issue. consider to
post your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file for the x
triagers.

What happens if you change your theme back to normal and remove all extensions
and or addons. try running it in safe mode. In terminal type firefox
-safe-mode. but please change theme back to default.
Can you please post the theme you are using and any sites it happens on
(atleast 3 sites) also
