Yes, for me too, it seems that name resolution goes wrong after some
flash content, just displaing "Looking up hostname ...". Now I'm using
3.5 betas, and the bug is there too, though it's much more rare to
occur.

For me, it mostly happen's when playing ANY video with adobe flash plugin, but
also with many other diffrent types flash content.

I still have got the problem (Ubuntu 8.04.1, 32 bit, firefox:
3.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.2).
I think most of pages causes the problem are flash based (but not
always, though), and of course I can't remove flash plugin since I need
those pages, I visit them to use them, so removing flash

Hmmm, it seems there are some pages which can "help" to trigger this
bug: after visiting them the browser can't resolve names anymore, at

And it's even worse, now I can't do anything with firefox, if I have
many valued tab open, and starts to stall and I exit with 'save and
quit' then restarting firefox cause to open the tabs and maybe it's ok
for few

Now it start to become more and more unusable I have to restart firefox
ever 5 minutes or so for stable work :( Always the "looking up
x.tld" messages, other browsers work.
