I'd recommend closing this bug, given that the initial error happened
via sidewinder.c and since this last affected me, I've upgraded to
flightgear 2.4.0 and no longer have any problems with my joystick.

Bug persists in Ubuntu 10.10, flightgear Version 1.9.1-1ubuntu2
Segmentation fault occurs after running fgjs and calibrating/enabling joystick.
I am using a ms precision pro sidewinder plugged into an emu10k1 gameport.
After disabling the gameport with
``sudo modprobe -rv emu10k1_gp''

Read other open bugs on Flightgear, tried deleting /dev/input/js0 and
/dev/input/js1 and unplugged and replugged the joystick as suggested in
bug 209444 and the program now works with joystick!! Happiness all
around!
