When you try to play something from an unplugged usb drive is it a crash or does bmpx just close (bmpx exit normally ) like in your first post ? According to http://bugs.backtrace.info/view.php?id=339 the usb issue seems to have been solved in 0.40 Here are some steps to reproduce the original is
