It seems to me patch can be reduced a lot if spacing/indentations are
kept unchanged as much as possible, could you please have a look at it?

I've verified that the hardy version has the bug (with the gmail plugin)
and that the proposed debdiff fixes it.
MOTU SRU: could you have a look at this bug and say if it's ok to

The patch looks quite sensible, but since I don't run Gnome and I don't
have a need for this package, I have not tested it.
I have wrapped the raw patch into a proper debdiff that acts on the
hardy version of the conduit source package (0.3.6-1ubuntu1) . The
package builds and everything looks san

OK, this problem was present in quite a few of the modules. The text was
set to visible so the invisible "●" character wasn't being displayed.
This patch corrects all of the instances where this happens in a
password field.
On the gmail module, the password field had * as an invisble character.

The Picasa provider has a "Password" field, but it shows characters in
plain text rather than with '*' or other masking. Anyone looking at my
