On my computer, the first error ("Cannot remove directory") only occurs for
some USB volumes.
Anyway, the second error (empty dialog box) occurs for any "good" error. I
think this one is not related to the first one.
System: Hardy Heron on a HP dv5000 laptop

gnome-mount gives error message
I noticed later on that Ubuntu no longer warns me about unsafe device
removal if I simply pull my usb drive out of the port. Maybe this
"feature" is related to the bug?
