Please forgive me, but first of all I'm not good in testing, I still have my
hardy system on my desktop computer and since a few months a jaunty system on
my laptop (an old toshiba satellite)
On both systems there is the same version with the same bug.
I can make a workaround by using the preview
We are closing this bug report because it lacks the information we need
to investigate the problem, as described in the previous comments.
Please reopen it if you still experience the bug with the latest 0.47
development release of inkscape, and don't hesitate to submit bug
reports in the future. T
I can't replicate this in karmic alpha 2, so hopefully the bug is now
fixed.
We'd like to figure out what's causing this bug for you, but we haven't
heard back from you in a while. Could you please provide the requested

A pre-release of the upcoming Inkscape 0.47 is now available in Ubuntu
Karmic for testing. Because *so* much stuff has changed compared with
the version you reported your bug against, would you mind re-testing
this new version and see if this bug is now resolved?
