I have been having problems with Unison on my Maverick desktop too.
Maverick's repos only have version 2.27.52, whereas I have 2.27.57 on my
server (Lucid) and netbook (Fedora 12). As a workaround, it seems that
the Lucid .deb will install quite happily on Maverick, but will need
pinning in /etc/ap
there was previously a workaround that you could install a specific old
version of unison, but this is no longer true in maverick - bug 600862.
