What's your value for "directory" in .rtorrent.rc? Are you using a relative path? ("directory = /home/rtorrent/torrents" works for me). Or is this related to the session dir? (I cannot reproduce the crash when rehashing a torrent in OPEN state. Is this still reproducible for you? Maybe related to
