robust.

I'm able to confirm this bug on a fresh Hardy installation, updated to
Intrepid.
/var/log/dist-upgrade/ is empty.

There are no files in /var/log/dist-upgrade. I think the bug lies with
MOTU/core-dev not having the correct dependencies in the Intrepid
archive yet, not in update-manager.
