This has been fixed upstream for over a year, but only in svn[1] since
the last xqf release was in 2006. A patch is at the linked Debian
report.

problem still exists.

I also have the same problem, 100% cpu usage and incomplete drawing of
the xqf window after quitting enemy territory.
