On Jaunty I tried reproducing the crash by deleting my
~/.config/audacious, starting audacious, and clicking I. I couldn't get
it to crash this way. So unless more is required to reproduce it, I
assume it's fixed now. If not, please reopen with additional directions
for reproducing it.

Could you do backtrace?
I'm sure it'll dead lock audacious if there's no playlist, but I don't
know why it would trigger segfault.
