I can see this bug too (Hardy, Compiz active), however in my case Evince
moves about thirty pixels down on every document reload.

Confirming this - but only if compiz ('visual effects: normal') is
enabled. With 'visual effects: none' I cannot reproduce the problem.
Maybe the same issue as Bug #155101 ? I change the package to compiz for
that reason...
