In response to Marin Pitt's concerns, this appears to be more along the
lines of a feature addition (support mirrors that need login
credentials). Given the relatively low level of impact of this bug, I
don't feel it is worthy of a SRU either.

I would like also confirm this bug. One of FOSS mirror in Indonesia
(http://dl2.foss-id.web.id) is not in the mirror list because the regex
doesn't allow numbers in the URL.
