Hi - I use a Fujitsu T2010 - with a Targus BT mouse and was having the
same problems of Kernel panic as described. Have just upgraded my lappy
to Intrepid and so far (2 days of testing) have not had a Kernel panic
once. Looks like this fixes the problem. Will advise otherwise if things
start going
I'll upgrade my laptop immediately after Intrepid is stable.
But I can't do without my notebook, so I won't install a beta version of the
system on my laptop.

Someone who was encountering this bug, can you please test with a fully
updated Intrepid install? A lot has changed - new bluetooth stack, new
kernel drivers for bluetooth.

I have the same problem here with my ThinkPad X60s and bluetooth mouse (MS
Wireless Laser Mouse 8000).
I'm running Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 3.5 and my kernel panics occur if I don't use
the system for a while, the screensaver starts and I want to use my system
afterwards using the mouse first (then
I'll test it this weekend if i have time, or next week. Since it is a
production notebook, and I'm using it a lot this week, I can't try it
out before things calm down here at work :)

The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

With a full update system, the problem persists.
I've search the /var/log/messages for errors, found nothing:

Looks like (and let me stress that: LOOKS) that the last update pack
fixed it. Maybe the new kernel image. I will test that for one week or
so, and if confirmed, I'll close that.

I've tried OpenSuse, and it looks like they have not this problem. But I
don't like Suse, want to use Ubuntu, and made a clean installl of Ubuntu
again... and the problem continues.
I've tried installing bluez* from the latest version avaliable,
compiling it all, but the problem persists.
Any sug
This is becoming really annoying. Anyone has at least any suggestion of
how can I workaround or debug this? I'm thinking about try another
distro to see if it is something related to the hardy bluetooth stack
(since on 7.10 I had not this problem...)
