It seems to be the same problem I have. I'm using Synaptic update
manager to upgrade Ubuntu from 8.04 to 8.10. Synaptic stops the download
package process (screen shots attached) warning that cannot found
specific packages. My network connection is Ok and I've tryed to repeat
the process several ti
my problem same with you, but i using 8.10, mozilla works, but when i using
wget from flashgot(wget), wget cannot save my download app, it's disappears
when i klik ok.
this problem affect to my laptop after i have do the first update to my laptop
i think this is error from wget, i uninstall wget
