When Intel releases the new chipsets?
It's been supported since at least Intel 875P Chipset.

Fred, PAT is a hardware improvement, mostly internal to the motherboard
chipset. As far as I can read from Intel, every Linux will "support" it
automatically when it gets released by the new Intel chipsets. By the
way, the expected real world performance difference is expected to land
somewhere bet
