I forgot to add, but my monitor shoud be capable of 75 mhz refresh
according to the manufacturer. It is not automaticaly detected as an
LCD also.

I will jump on this also. My card is an nVidia 7600 GS and my monitor
is a DCL LCD monitor with manufacturer documented Vertical Refresh Rate:
50 ~ 75Hz and Horizontal Frequency: 24 ~ 80kHz
ddcprobe xrandr output is as follows:

Same problem here. Only one refresh rate option though, which is 52 hz
according to the screen resolution settings, but 75 hz according to my
monitor. Something is definitely messed up with the refresh rate stuff.
