I've added the remote bug report (debian), I've tested the latest
package:
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/q/qemulator/qemulator_0.5-4.dsc
$ dget -xu
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/q/qemulator/qemulator_0.5-4.dsc
$ cd qemulator-0.5/
$ debuild -us -uc
$ sudo dpkg -i ../qemu
I can confirm this bug in Ubuntu 10.04, to check it out, you only need
to:
1-Open qemulator
2.-Start an instance
3.- Go to the "Running jobs" tab
4.- Right click on "control monitor"

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue
for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

Found a resolution for this over on a Debian site. Seems something

Went into '~/.qemulator/confi
I get a lot of windows signaling an error on a just installed and upgraded
Jaunty.
Apparently everything works, but in fact when I try to add one more machine, it
is not added (and I get the error window).

qemulator.py crashed with GError in add_bookmark_response()

Same here:
qemu 0.9.x detected, using 0.9 command set
Exception in thread Thread-9:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/python2.5/threading.py", line 486, in __bootstrap_inner
self.run()
File "/usr/share/qemulator/qml_controlmon.py", line 167, in run
self.preload_gui()
Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?
