I also got an email from Chris Cheney, and have replied to him also
saying this now appears to be fixed.
I am using OOo 2.4.1 supplied with Ubuntu 8.04 and it is behaving itself
perfectly.

I have checked out this problem and it now appears to be cured, thanks.

Can you try with the latest release of OOo and report back if the problem still
persists. Also, do try the fix in Bug # 236676, though the fix is more towards
Hardy, x64.
