When you create a new vm, you choose which OS you're installing. Based
on that, acpi will be enabled or disabled. For Linux guests, for
instance, acpi will be enabled. How did you create your vm?

Hmm, I found no mention anywhere of that feature. I'll try it, but
assuming that works, it would just mean the bug needs to be moved to
virt-manager, which provides no setting for it.
