Yes, just tested.
After attempting to connect to the socket with "nc.openbsd -vU
/tmp/ncsocket.1", the result is following:

Segmentation fault
r...@dom0:~# grep RELEASE /etc/lsb-release
DISTRIB_RELEASE=8.04
