Also came to confirm that it still exists. I have no idea how Gnome handles the resizing of a window but it seems that a simple solution would be to snap the popup to a screen edge if it overlaps, and then check for an overlap whenever you resize it. Essentially, the exact same behavior you get w

Let me annotate that in some localizations (like German), the button's text could be longer then "Set...". In the German localization, it's "Einstellen", so it occurs everytime, when there is displayed that on the location there is another day then on the home location. With the longer caption
