QtParted is unmaintained, so this will likely not be fixed.
KDE users are now recommended to use the "partionmanager" package to manage
their paritions.

I had a similar experience after running a live cd on a windows sys , it
blew out the partitions on all 3 drives and seemed to leave a large temp
data file on one of them , my conclusion is that there are some badly
altered iso,s out there ... i will now only use a LTS version and only
download my
