my ethernet wired card is not detected by default installation cd.nor after
installation it shows ethernet card inside network.only when i install those
drives it
detects.both ubuntu and kubuntu doesnt detect my card.thank you i wont be

i dont know what's your problem,i just said above "the problem".no
description about what's the speed of hardware 10/100 mbps?.also it
reports as unknown hardware why?.read above.

After reading what you just said, I notice that you installed the
drivers in ubuntu too. In this case, what's the difference between
kubuntu and ubuntu? Does both need external drivers? Are you saying that
the only difference is the lspci output? If yes, perhaps you should make
sure that you have t
ya as i said it doesnt detect by default on first boot and on live cd.but when
i typed
modprobe sc92031 it started to show inside network but it still doesnt show
fill clear information like "Detected hanzou silan ethernet adapter 10/100mbps
speed etc".but rather unknown device.what about users
You network card is properly listed in this lspci output. In the
description, you said that your network card does not appear in lspci
outputs under kubuntu. Can you type the same command under kubuntu and
attach your lspci-nnvv.txt file?

yes i ran the command in kubuntu but where is ~/lspci directory. no clue i
enabled hidden files in dolphin
but iam unable to find path to ~/ where is it?

terminal inside kubuntu and ubuntu, and then attach the created lspci-
nnvv.txt file from your home directory? Also can you tell the exact
ubuntu version you are using for each lspci-nnvv.txt attached file? Ex.
