My mistake: Ubuntu Gutsy instead of Feisty. Did not yet moved to Hardy.
May be worth to test for that problem in Hardy as well? Will try as soon
as possible.

Also does upgrading to Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) resolve the problem you are
