Hi Leann,
this error occured with an ide hard disc plugged in, that I don't obtain
any longer. Sorry, but I have no means to test if it's still present or
not.

hm... interesting. I've just unplugged an IDE disc (which was /dev/hda)
and now everything is back to normal. *puzzled*.
