Once the new version is in intrepid, you can request a backport

a backport and if possible an update for hardy, as relative to the
included version the newer version includes many bug fixes, including

grief over hardy's

hardy was frozen. Anyhow, we will autosync for intrepid and, if you
require it, may make it as a backport for hardy.
