I have the kernel 2.6.24-17 and l still have the same issue. I'm only
getting 1mb from my wireless. This problem have been going on for a
long time, is not one going to fix it? I've read dozens of posts that
go back for months. Please fix this guys. Thanks.

Glad it is fixed for you now i must confess i decided to reinstall on
release date and this time did it with ndiswrapper which worked for me
so i cant confirm.

I had the same problem with a broadcom 4318, a recent update (kernel
upgraded to 2.6.24-17) fixed this problem for me, hope it was fixed for
you too.
